Individuals who have suffered from a significant injury have ongoing needs that impact upon all aspects of their life.  A Future Cost of Care Report is a comprehensive report that identifies all of the additional costs associated with the client’s injury and makes recommendations for treatment from now until the end of their life.

PRC’s Future Cost of Care Reports contain an overview of the client’s health and functional abilities as well as their medical, social, vocational and academic history both before and after their injury.  Recommendations for their future care are made using the information gathered from an in-home assessment, a review of relevant medical documentation and contact with the client’s treating professionals.  These recommendations are costed out and can include (but are not limited to):

Professional healthcare services (e.g. physiotherapy, chiropractic care, occupational
          therapy, psychological counseling, etc.)
  Attendant care and caregiving assistance
  Housekeeping and home maintenance support
  Vocational counselling and/or re-training
  Rehabilitation support, including post-operative care
